Riaan Niemand joined Radio Network Solutions on 1 August 2016 and brings over 15 years of expertise to his role as a DAS Designer. Specialising in in-building coverage solutions, Riaan designs tailored systems for various environments, including small businesses, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls and large factories. His work begins with detailed pre-surveys to assess each building’s unique requirements, followed by creating customised designs that optimise coverage. Riaan also provides technical support during the installation phase, ensuring the solutions are implemented seamlessly and effectively addressing any challenges that arise.
With a National Technical Diploma (N6) and a qualification as a Radar Mechanician by trade, Riaan combines his technical knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver high-quality results. His role is marked by precision and a commitment to creating impactful solutions that meet the specific needs of each project.
Riaan’s motivation stems from the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through his work. He is driven by the sense of accomplishment that comes from solving challenges, improving processes and contributing to the success of his team. Known for his collaborative spirit, Riaan consistently shares ideas, offers support and approaches tasks with a proactive attitude to add value to the organisation.
Outside of work, Riaan channels his creativity into scrap metal art welding. This hobby allows him to transform discarded materials into meaningful pieces, honing his problem-solving skills and patience. The innovative and hands-on nature of this activity mirrors his approach to design work, where he finds value in details and explores unconventional solutions. Riaan’s passion for continuous learning and his ability to think outside the box enrich both his personal growth and professional contributions.
